How do I add Players/Coaches to my Team's roster?

Step 1: Have your player log into their SportsEngine account (only one registration per account is allowed) and register as a coach/player with their legal name (needs to match USA Registration), address, email, team, division, and USA Number by Wednesday at 5pm.

Step 2: Once verification is complete the player will be moved onto your roster, this can be checked in SportsEngine.  If there is an issue with the registration an email will be sent to the player, any necessary updates will need to be made before the player can be rostered.  If a player you are expecting to be rostered is not showing up on your roster on Friday morning please email registrar@wachhockey.com to let me know so it can be checked on.

COACHES/MANAGERS/VOLUNTEERS

ANYONE behind your bench MUST have a paid USA number and be WACH verified.  Coaches register in the same way as players.

SUBS

Subs are verified on their home teams page but MUST still be listed on your roster and game sheet as a sub.  In order to have a sub added you will need to email registrar@wachhockey.com with your team name, sub name and home team, and game they will be subbing for before the puck drops for your game.  Subs do not necessarily need to be in on Wednesday, however last minute subs may not be added to your roster until after your game so they will not be on the printed scoresheet.  In that case it is still your responsibility to verify they are actively on their home team's roster and cleared to play.  They will need to be written in on the game sheet and will be added after the weekend so that your game can be inputed.


How do I find Free Agents or others for Subbing?

You'll need to be a team manager to have access to Player Finder which is located under the Contacts tab. Look for "Free Agent" or any other team name under the "Rostered Team" column. This will tell you what team they play on.  You can check that teams roster in their division to make sure the player is currently eligible to play.


What if I want to send an email out to everyone to request subs?

You'll need to be in Edit Mode and then head into "Manage Team" from your team's home page. Click on the envelope icon in the top right and select Send Message. You'll see different email groups you can select from to send emails out. Please only use the email for WACH business.
